Separately, AXA's former Hungarian life insurance subsidiary, AXA Biztosító Zrt. (unrelated to the current travel/assistance business), was sold to Vienna Insurance Group in 2014/2021 and was previously fined by the MNB for data-handling and consumer-protection deficiencies; that entity has since been rebranded under Vienna Insurance Group and is no longer part of AXA.
