Regulatory updates
FBD Insurance Group Ltd, trading as FBD Insurance, is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland, with underwriting carried out by fellow group subsidiary FBD Insurance plc; both are wholly owned by FBD Holdings plc. A customer notice confirmed that, effective from 28 January 2026, servicing of policies underwritten by FBD Insurance plc was consolidated under FBD Insurance plc with no change to policy terms. FBD Holdings plc remains listed on Euronext Dublin (ticker EG7), published its Annual Report for 2025 in March 2026, held its AGM on 7 May 2026, and issued half-year results for the period ended 30 June 2026 in August 2026. FBD's solvency capital ratio has remained well above regulatory requirements (reported at approximately 197% for 2024), and the insurer continues to report strong premium growth and high customer retention amid the Central Bank's ongoing 2026 supervisory priorities on financial resilience, digitalisation/AI, climate risk and operational/cyber resilience.
