Overview
Arca Vita and Arca Assicurazioni are the bancassurance companies of the Unipol Group, based in Verona since 1987. Arca Vita was founded in 1987 as a life and pension savings specialist, while Arca Assicurazioni was established in 1995 as the first company to sell motor liability insurance through bank branches; together they distribute life, savings, motor, home, health and business insurance products through a network of partner banks.

Industry-wide, IVASS issued Provvedimento n. 163 of 25 November 2025 requiring insurers and intermediaries to update precontractual documents and websites by 14 January 2026 to reference the new Arbitro Assicurativo (Insurance Arbitrator) dispute-resolution scheme, operative since 7 October 2025; no company-specific sanctions against Arca Vita or Arca Assicurazioni were found in recent IVASS enforcement bulletins.
