<cite index="140-2,140-3">BCC Assicurazioni is a company fully compliant and subject to IVASS supervision, operating nationwide offering a wide range of products: motor policies, personal, home, family and business protection policies.</cite> The company is registered in the IVASS register of insurance undertakings (no. 1.00124) and in the register of insurance groups. In 2024, following a competitive selection process, <cite index="94-1,94-3">Assimoco acquired from BCC Banca Iccrea the 51% of the capital of BCC Assicurazioni, an operation that renews the historic collaboration with Iccrea and gives Assimoco the opportunity to operate in insurance through a territorial network logic.</cite> <cite index="93-1">The agreement provides for a total duration of up to 15 years with the possibility for Assimoco to acquire an additional 19% of the capital of BCC Assicurazioni to reach 70%.</cite> The Antitrust authority previously reviewed and did not open proceedings on Iccrea's prior acquisition of exclusive control of BCC Assicurazioni and BCC Vita from Generali/Cattolica.
