Bene Assicurazioni was authorized by IVASS in December 2016 (Provvedimento IVASS n. 0237415) and began operations in 2017. In June 2024 IVASS approved an increase of Italmobiliare's stake in the company to 24.99%. Most recently, effective 1 May 2026, following IVASS authorizations (Provvedimenti n. 63572 and n. 63574) finalized on 29 April 2026, Bene Assicurazioni acquired the business branch of CF Assicurazioni S.p.A. and control of CF Life Compagnia di Assicurazioni Vita S.p.A., as part of its acquisition of Tecnocasa's insurance businesses.
