The underlying travel insurance policies sold under the Heymondo brand in Italy are underwritten by IMA Italia Assistance S.p.A. (an Italian insurer headquartered in Sesto San Giovanni, Milan) and, more recently, by the Spanish insurer Iris Global Soluciones de Protección Seguros y Reaseguros S.A., operating in Italy under freedom to provide services.
