Bodily injury liability
€6,450,000
Statutory per-claim minimum under Italian law (D.Lgs. 209/2005) for injury to third parties, regardless of the number of people involved in the accident; the applicable limits are those agreed and stated in the policy schedule (Scheda di Polizza).

Legal defence / Tutela Legale
€20,000 – €25,000
Optional legal protection add-on offered in two formulas (Basic and Premium) with increasing benefits. Green Card (international motor insurance certificate)
Covered
International insurance certificate that proves the vehicle's RCA coverage and allows travel abroad without worry; automatically valid in EU countries and several other European states, required for certain non-EU countries.
Roadside assistance
Optional
Optional roadside assistance offered in three increasingly comprehensive formulas through partner Europ Assistance, providing a mobile workshop or tow truck in case of accident, breakdown, fire, theft, flat tyre, running out of fuel, or lost keys, plus phone support for completing the accident report (CAI).
Driver accident (personal injury)
Optional
Optional cover insuring the driver in case of accident, permanent disability, or death occurring while driving the vehicle or getting in/out of it.
Passenger bodily injury liability

Key conditions
Territorial scope
The RC Auto cover is automatically valid, without needing to carry a Green Card, throughout Italy, the EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Andorra, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Switzerland; the Green Card is still required for certain other countries.
Green card rules
Since EU agreements, the Green Card is no longer required within EU countries as guarantees operate automatically on the basis of the Italian RC Auto policy; it is still required, for example, for Turkey, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Israel, Moldova and Tunisia.
Driver restrictions
The RC Auto cover is always valid regardless of who is driving the vehicle and without time or mileage limitations.
Bonus-malus rules
The bonus/malus merit class is calculated based on a five-year claims observation period; for claims with principal responsibility, the observation period starts from the policy inception date and runs through claims assessment.
