Regulatory updates
LTA is registered in the AFM register under number 12045692, which can be verified at the AFM's professional registers site. It operates as a tied/authorised agent under §34d(1) of the German Gewerbeordnung and is authorised to act as such in the Netherlands under article 2:94 of the Wft, with its German intermediary registration checkable via vermittlerregister.info. On the corporate side, Hanseatic Broking Center (HBC) GmbH acquired a majority stake in LTA in 2025, with LTA having specialised in tailor-made travel insurance since 2005 and expanded into the Netherlands in 2022. HBC itself, LTA's new majority owner, subsequently agreed to a majority stake sale to private equity firm Bridgepoint in mid-2025.
