Regulatory updates
On 27 April 2026, the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) issued a decision imposing a monetary penalty of PLN 8.5 million on Compensa TU S.A. Vienna Insurance Group for setting MTPL insurance premiums at a level that did not ensure fulfilment of all insurance obligations and coverage of operating costs in motor third-party liability insurance (Group 10) for the years 2022–2024, in violation of Article 33(2) of the Insurance and Reinsurance Activity Act of 11 September 2015. The decision is not yet final.
