Regulatory updates
In June 2026, KNF imposed a fine of PLN 2.7 million on InterRisk for setting motor third-party liability (MTPL) premiums at a level insufficient to cover obligations and operating costs in 2023–2024 (violation of Art. 33(2) of the Insurance Activity Act). The decision is not final. In July 2025, KNF imposed additional fines totaling PLN 76,600 for late payment of MTPL indemnities and failure to inform claimants of denial of compensation in a timely manner. These follow multiple prior fines for similar MTPL indemnity delays.
