Regulatory updates
Allianz Portugal is subject to ASF oversight as a licensed insurer. Recent ASF regulatory activity affecting the market includes Norma Regulamentar n.º 1/2026-R and n.º 5/2026-R, which set the quarterly fire and natural elements capital-update indices for 2026, Norma Regulamentar n.º 2/2026-R (16 April 2026) amending the General Conditions of the compulsory motor third-party liability policy, and Norma Regulamentar n.º 4/2026-R (28 July 2026) extending the suspension of pension-fund disclosure rules under Norma Regulamentar n.º 7/2025-R until January 2028. The ASF also issued Circular n.º 8/2026 (14 July 2026) on FATF (GAFI) communications and approved a new register of lobbying meetings from 28 July 2026. In market-wide terms, ASF reported that total direct insurance production in Portugal rose 18.1% year-on-year in Q2 2026, with Life growing 27.5% and Non-Life 9.2%. No specific enforcement actions against Allianz Portugal were found in recent public ASF publications.
