Regulatory updates
Colonnade operates in Slovakia as a branch of a Luxembourg-licensed insurer, so supervision is primarily performed by the CAA in Luxembourg while NBS retains limited host-state oversight over consumer protection matters. In the second half of 2019, Colonnade ceased offering CASCO (motor damage) insurance in Slovakia, transferring its existing motor damage policy portfolio to Uniqa; Colonnade does not underwrite MTPL (Class 10) in any market and continues to focus on non-life products such as property, liability, accident, travel and GAP insurance for individuals and businesses.
