Regulatory updates
In November 2021, the National Bank of Slovakia granted prior approval for the transfer of Generali Poisťovňa a.s. Slovakia's entire insurance portfolio to Generali Česká pojišťovna a.s. (Czech Republic), with the decision becoming final on 11 November 2021. Since 19 December 2021, Generali operates in Slovakia as a branch (pobočka) of the Czech entity under the name Generali Poisťovňa, registered in the Bratislava III Commercial Register, section Po, insert 8774/B. The insurer remains subject to NBS supervision as an EU cross-border branch.
