Regulatory updates
In November 2024, the Spanish Ministry of Economy (via the DGSFP) authorized the cross-border merger by absorption of IMA Ibérica de Seguros y Reaseguros S.A. (entity code C0709) by the French company IMA Assurances S.A. (entity code E0258), pursuant to Ministerial Order ECM/1369/2024. The Spanish entity was formally extinguished and cancelled from the administrative register of insurers. The Imaway brand and its travel insurance products continue to be offered to Spanish residents under IMA Assurances operating in Spain.
