Acquired by Sanitas in 2018 and subsequently merged into it, Néctar now operates under the product name 'Néctar Contigo', offering private health insurance with full medical coverage, dental, and a dedicated medical network throughout Spain.

Regulatory updates
Néctar Seguros (Sahna-e) was acquired by Sanitas S.A. de Seguros following regulatory approval by the DGSFP on 12 September 2018. A subsequent merger by absorption was formalized in March 2019, with Sanitas assuming all rights and obligations of Sahna-e. The entity (as Sanitas) is registered with the DGSFP under administrative registry number C-775 and remains subject to ongoing prudential supervision under Spain's insurance framework (LOSSEAR, Ley 20/2015). The Néctar brand continues as a commercial product line ('Néctar Contigo') of Sanitas.
