Regulatory updates
ICA Försäkring received formal approval from Finansinspektionen to conduct insurance business ahead of its market launch in October 2015. The company's insurance license (skadeförsäkring) remains active and it is registered under org. no. 556966-2975, supervised by Finansinspektionen. No direct sanctions against ICA Försäkring itself have been identified; however, in January 2026 Finansinspektionen opened an investigation into sister company ICA Banken's consumer credit assessment practices, which concluded in July 2026.
