On 4 September 2024, Belfius Bank concluded a settlement with the FSMA involving a payment of EUR 1 million for issuing bonds without an FSMA-approved prospectus, alongside a commitment to reinforce its legal risk management. Belfius Insurance's Solvency II ratio remained solid at approximately 200%, and it reported a record net profit contribution of EUR 273 million in 2024, up 14% year-on-year.
