Regulatory updates
DZI - General Insurance EAD (VAT: 121718407) and DZI - Life Insurance EAD (VAT: 121518328) are both supervised entities listed by the Financial Supervision Commission (FSC) of Bulgaria. Both entities notified the FSC on 02.10.2007 of their intention to operate across EU member states under freedom of services. DZI holds licenses for all general and life insurance classes under the Bulgarian Insurance Code. As of January 2025, following FSC regulatory approval, Anastas Petrov officially assumed the position of Management Board Member and Chief Commercial Officer of DZI. DZI - Life Insurance EAD published its 2024 Solvency and Financial Condition Report (SFCR), reporting a strongly capitalised position as of 31 December 2024 with a stable outlook for 2025-2027. No adverse regulatory actions have been reported against DZI by the FSC.
