Regulatory updates
UNIQA pojišťovna, a.s. is supervised by the Czech National Bank (ČNB), Na Příkopě 28, 115 03 Praha 1, which exercises prudential oversight of all domestic insurers under Czech insurance law. The insurer is registered in the Commercial Register at the Municipal Court in Prague, section B, file 2012. In 2024, updated vehicle insurance terms (Auto & Pohoda) came into effect from 1 March 2025. In 2020, UNIQA completed the acquisition of AXA's Czech subsidiaries, significantly expanding its portfolio to include supplementary pension savings and investment products, with full integration completed in summer 2021.
