Regulatory updates
Finanstilsynet conducted an ordinary inspection of LB Forsikring A/S in April 2023, focusing on governance, control systems, outsourcing, investments, insurance provisions and solvency, and issued an order requiring the company to prepare a multi-year internal audit plan. Separately, in 2021-2022 LB Forsikring accepted a DKK 275,000 fine from the National Special Crime Unit after being reported by Finanstilsynet for insurance terms that discriminated against pregnant policyholders, in breach of gender equal-treatment rules for insurance.
