Regulatory updates
In May 2024, Finanstilsynet conducted a regular risk-based inspection of Thisted Forsikring A/S, reviewing governance, controls, outsourcing, investments, technical provisions and solvency. The company was ordered to establish an effective internal audit function and to ensure the actuarial function's reports to management fully address uncertainty in premium provision estimates, in line with legal requirements. An earlier inspection of the (then) Thisted Forsikring G/S took place in January 2015.
