Matmut is supervised by the ACPR as part of the SGAM Matmut prudential group (Solvency II). In early 2026, the DGCCRF/DREETS fined Matmut €169,000 for late payment of supplier invoices following an investigation into compliance with commercial code payment deadlines. No ACPR sanctions against Matmut itself have been reported; the group continues its 2024-2026 strategic plan focused on diversification, AI and prevention, including the acquisition of HSBC Assurances Vie (France), renamed Korege.
