Key conditions

Territorial scope

Cover applies in metropolitan France (including Corsica), Martinique, Guadeloupe and Réunion, throughout the EEA, in Bosnia-Herzegovina, the United Kingdom, Montenegro, Andorra, Serbia and Switzerland, and, subject to prior agreement and the green card, in Albania, Azerbaijan, Morocco, Moldova, North Macedonia, Tunisia, Turkey and Ukraine.

Green card rules

A green card / international motor insurance certificate is provided by the insurer on request and must be presented at the border to benefit from cover in certain non-EEA countries listed in the contract.

Driver restrictions

The driver must hold a valid driving licence appropriate to the vehicle category; cover is excluded if the driver lacks the required licence, subject to exceptions for licences invalid solely due to place/duration of residence, a dependent child driving without the policyholder's knowledge, or supervised driving lessons under applicable regulations.

Claim notification deadline

Claims must be reported within 5 working days of becoming aware of the event, within 2 working days in case of theft, and within 10 to 30 days following publication of the interministerial order in case of a natural catastrophe, depending on the contract version.

Bonus-malus rules

A statutory bonus-malus clause applies: the coefficient starts at 1, is reduced by 5% (7% for 'Tournées'/'Tous Déplacements' use) after each claim-free annual period down to a floor of 0.50, and is increased by 25% per claim (20% for 'Tournées'/'Tous Déplacements' use, halved when the driver's liability is only partial), capped at 3.50.
