Admiral Intermediary Services SA (trading as L'olivier Assurance)
L'olivier Assurance
L'olivier Assurance is a motor third-party liability insurance for the France market with online purchase and limited assistance availability.
Direct payment
The insurer does not describe a cashless/direct-billing arrangement with repairers. The policyholder must obtain L'olivier Assurance's prior approval (a claim number) before any repair; damage is then assessed amicably and the indemnity is paid to the policyholder (or the vehicle's owner, if different) within the contractual/statutory deadlines.
Geographic scope
Metropolitan France (including Corsica), French overseas departments, regions and territories (DROM-COM)
For the mandatory liability guarantee: mainland France (Corsica included), DROM-COM, Andorra, Gibraltar, Liechtenstein, San Marino, Vatican, Monaco, and Green Card system member states except Azerbaijan, Belarus, Israel, Iran, Morocco, Russia, Tunisia and Turkey. Natural/technological catastrophe cover is limited to mainland France and DROM-COM. Other guarantees extend to the listed states for stays under 90 days.

Coverage limits
Bodily injury liability
unlimited
Bodily injury caused to third parties is covered on an unlimited basis, including immaterial losses consequential to covered bodily injury.
Property damage liability
€50,000,000
Material and immaterial damage caused to third parties is covered up to €50,000,000, including immaterial losses consequential to covered material damage within the same limit.
Legal defence and recourse following an accident
€5,000
Covers legal defence and recourse action following a road accident, capped at €5,000 per event, with additional per-procedure ceilings set out in the T&Cs (e.g. up to €2,000 for a Conseil d'État appeal, €1,800 for a Cour de Cassation appeal on demand).
Green Card
No limit stated
The T&Cs define territorial scope by reference to Green Card system member states (excluding Azerbaijan, Belarus, Israel, Iran, Morocco, Russia, Tunisia, Turkey) but do not describe a distinct Green Card issuance process, document or coverage limit.
Roadside assistance (breakdown, accident, fire, theft)
€200
On-site repair or towing following breakdown, accident, fire, theft or attempted theft is covered up to €200 (incl. VAT). The base 'Assistance 50 km' formula applies a 50 km mileage deductible from the home address in case of breakdown; optional 'Assistance 0 km' and 'Assistance Premium' upgrades remove or extend this deductible and add further benefits.
Personal driver accident guarantee
€100,000
Covers bodily injury suffered by the designated driver in an at-fault or partly at-fault road accident, capped at €100,000 per the policy schedule. An optional 'enhanced driver guarantee' rider (Garantie personnelle du conducteur renforcée) raises this ceiling to €1,000,000, available only to conductors designated on the contract.
Passenger accident guarantee
No limit stated
The policy does not provide a standalone passenger-accident benefit. Passengers injured in an accident are compensated as third parties under the mandatory bodily-injury liability guarantee, not under a dedicated passenger accident guarantee.
Key conditions
Territorial scope
For the mandatory liability guarantee, cover applies in mainland France (including Corsica), the French overseas departments, regions and territories, Andorra, Gibraltar, Liechtenstein, San Marino, Vatican, Monaco, and Green Card system member states (excluding Azerbaijan, Belarus, Israel, Iran, Morocco, Russia, Tunisia, Turkey). Natural/technological catastrophe cover is limited to mainland France and the overseas departments/regions/territories; other guarantees extend to the listed states for stays under 90 days.
Green card rules
Territorial scope for liability cover extends to all Green Card system member states except Azerbaijan, Belarus, Israel, Iran, Morocco, Russia, Tunisia and Turkey, per the Green Card system list published at cobx.org.
Driver restrictions
The driver must hold a valid licence matching the vehicle category. A 'young/inexperienced driver' deductible of €0 to €1,600 applies if the vehicle is driven by a person not designated as principal/secondary driver on the schedule, a driver licensed for under 3 years, or a driver with aggravating circumstances (e.g. prior licence suspension, high claims frequency).
Claim notification deadline
Claims must generally be reported within 5 business days of the event; 2 business days for theft or attempted theft; within 30 days of the official publication of the natural/technological catastrophe order; and within statutory deadlines to the competent authorities for terrorism/riot-related claims.
Bonus-malus rules
Standard French bonus-malus (CRM) clause: the coefficient starts at 1.00, decreases by 5% (7% for 'tournées'/'tous déplacements' use) per claim-free year down to a floor of 0.50, and increases by 25% per at-fault claim (20% for 'tournées'/'tous déplacements' use), halved when responsibility is only partial, up to a ceiling of 3.50; after two consecutive claim-free reference years the coefficient cannot exceed 1.00.
