Regulatory updates

Anytime's parent Interamerican is supervised by the Bank of Greece, which licenses and financially supervises all insurance undertakings headquartered in Greece. The Bank of Greece reported total insurance sector assets of €22.93bn at end-Q2 2026, up 4.5% quarter-on-quarter, and will participate in EIOPA's second coordinated 'mystery shopping' exercise on insurance sales practices in 2026. Separately, market reports throughout 2025 speculated that National Bank of Greece was in talks to acquire Interamerican from Achmea, though National Bank sources denied an imminent deal while acknowledging exploratory contacts. Interamerican's management has stated an ambition to overtake Greece's top-four insurers by sales volume in 2026, using Anytime as its 'flagship' for growth, including international expansion into Cyprus (via the Gan Direct motor/property portfolio acquisition) and organic entry into Romania.
