Ethniki Asfalistiki is Greece's oldest and largest insurance company, founded on 15 June 1891. It operates in all insurance sectors, offering motor, property, health, life, travel, liability, cyber, group and investment-linked insurance products to over 1.7 million policyholders. As of November 27, 2025, it joined the Piraeus Bank Group after the bank acquired 100% of its parent holding company Ethniki Holdings S.à.r.l. from CVC Capital Partners.

Eurolife FFH is one of the leading insurance groups in Greece, offering comprehensive life and general insurance solutions for individuals and businesses. Founded in 2000 as an insurance unit of Eurobank, it operates under the Fairfax Financial Holdings umbrella and serves over 500,000 customers through a broad sales network. In October 2025, Eurobank agreed to reacquire 80% of the life insurance business from Fairfax for €813 million, pending regulatory approval.
