The Bank of Greece remains the competent prudential supervisor of Groupama Asfalistiki under Solvency II. According to the company's 2025 Solvency and Financial Condition Report, Groupama Asfalistiki recorded gross written premiums of €211.5 million in 2025 (up 6.7% year-on-year) and its Solvency Capital Requirement (SCR) coverage ratio stood at 145.4%, up 7.8 percentage points versus 2024, while the company returned to a positive pre-tax result for the year. Separately, in late 2025 the Hellenic Association of Insurance Companies and the Bank of Greece (DEIA) were made aware of market tension after insurers including Groupama and Ethniki Asfalistiki moved to cut commissions paid to roughly 20,000 insurance intermediaries, prompting intermediary associations to seek meetings with the supervisory authority.
