Regulatory updates
AXA Insurance DAC published its Solvency and Financial Condition Report (SFCR) for year-end 2024 with the Central Bank of Ireland, and uses a full internal model as one of four Irish non-life insurers authorised to do so. In December 2022, the Central Bank of Ireland reprimanded and fined AXA Life Europe DAC (an affiliated AXA entity) €3,640,000 for three breaches relating to corporate governance, risk management, and conflicts of interest under the European Communities (Life Assurance) Framework Directive. AXA Insurance DAC remains authorised and in normal regulatory standing. The Central Bank's Individual Accountability Framework (IAF) took effect from July 2024, imposing new Common Conduct Standards applicable to in-scope employees of AXA entities.
