Regulatory updates
In March 2026, Zurich Insurance Europe AG's Irish branch agreed to acquire Generali España's Irish non-life (RedClick) business for €337 million; the deal is subject to legal and regulatory approval (Central Bank of Ireland, Spanish DGSFP and Germany's BaFin) and is expected to complete in late 2026 or early 2027, after which RedClick customers and staff will transfer to Zurich Ireland's non-life business.
