Groupama Assicurazioni is registered with IVASS in the register of Italian insurance and reinsurance companies (no. 1.00023, IVASS code A095S). In November 2025, IVASS imposed a sanction of €98,880 on Groupama Assicurazioni as part of its regular enforcement actions against insurers for RCA/motor-related compliance issues. Separately, in November 2025 IVASS authorized Groupama Assurances Mutuelles, via Groupama Assicurazioni S.p.A., to acquire control of ARA 1857 SPA (a company under special administration) by purchasing an additional 90% of its share capital.
