Regulatory updates
Prima Assicurazioni S.p.A. is registered with IVASS's Single Register of Insurance Intermediaries (RUI) under number A000511660. In August 2025 AXA signed an agreement to acquire a 51% majority stake in Prima, and the deal was completed on 28 November 2025 for approximately €538 million, bringing Prima into the AXA Group; the remaining 49% is subject to call/put options exercisable in 2029-2030. Separately, following the merger of iptiQ EMEA P&C's Italian branch into Allianz Direct Versicherungs-AG (effective 16 December 2025, approved by IVASS and announced in IVASS Bulletin No. 12/2025 of 30 January 2026), Allianz Direct now fully takes over the existing iptiQ insurance contracts distributed by Prima.
