Quixa Assicurazioni S.p.A. is registered in Section I of the IVASS Register of Insurance Companies (no. 1.00181) and was authorized to conduct insurance business by IVASS Provvedimento no. 0107264 of 17 April 2019; in 2021 IVASS authorized it to extend its business to branches 2 (Health), 8 (Fire and other property damage), 9 (Other damage to property) and 13 (General liability). A merger by incorporation of Quixa into AXA Assicurazioni S.p.A. has been authorized by IVASS (provvedimento n. 139687/26) and is expected to take effect on 31 December 2026, after which Quixa contracts will continue unchanged but the Quixa brand will be absorbed into AXA Assicurazioni.
