Baloise Assurances Luxembourg S.A. is authorized by the Luxembourg Ministry of Finance for non-life insurance branches (1, 3, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 16, 17, 18), and Baloise Vie Luxembourg S.A. for life branches (I, II, III, VI, VII), both supervised by the CAA. A major regulatory event occurred on 5 December 2025 when parent company Baloise Holding SA merged with Helvetia Holding SA to form Helvetia Baloise Holding SA, with all required supervisory approvals granted. The CAA issued Information Note 26/3 in Q1 2026 regarding DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act) additional controls, applying to all supervised insurers including Baloise.
