Regulatory updates
In late 2025 the Dutch competition authority ACM approved a strategic partnership under which health insurer VGZ will become the risk-carrier for all health insurance policies executed by ONVZ, including the VvAA Zorgverzekering, effective 1 January 2027; ONVZ and the VvAA brand will continue to exist. Separately, VvAA has announced that for the 2027 policy year it will offer a new health insurance proposition in cooperation with a.s.r. and ONVZ.
