Regulatory updates
Anytime Romania (Interamerican Hellenic Insurance Company S.A. Athens – Bucharest Branch) entered the Romanian market in summer 2025 under the Freedom of Establishment framework, registered with ASF under number RX-5964. After an initial validation phase with RCA-only sales, the company held its official full commercial launch event on 29 April 2026 and in 2026 it expanded its portfolio to four protection tiers: RCA, RCA Plus, RCA & CASCO Go, and RCA & CASCO Pro. By October 2026 the company reported roughly 60,000 customers, over 100 million lei in gross written premiums, over two million insurance quotes generated, 2.7 million lei paid in claims, and fewer than ten official complaints to ASF. The company announced plans to invest approximately €30 million over the next four to five years and intends to launch travel and home insurance products in 2027.
