Regulatory updates
UNIQA Asigurari is authorized by ASF (Decision no. 8 of 23.10.2001, registered in the Insurers Register under RA-007/2003). ASF sanctioned UNIQA Asigurari with a fine of 21,500 lei for four violations including failure to provide objective and complete information to clients about an insurance product and breaches of insurance distribution provisions. In 2021, ASF approved UNIQA Asigurari's withdrawal from the MTPL (RCA) motor third-party liability insurance market segment. In 2024, ASF approved new members of the Board of Directors (Andreea Vlasie in October 2024, and Ramona Bernic as Vice-President following the departure of Valentin Coroiu in June 2024).
