Regulatory updates
KOOPERATIVA poisťovňa is a licensed insurer supervised by Národná banka Slovenska (NBS) under Act No. 39/2015 on insurance. It is listed on the NBS register of regulated insurers and publishes its annual reports and general policy conditions online. In January 2025, a preliminary ruling request (Case C-29/25) was lodged at the EU Court of Justice from the Krajský súd v Prešove involving KOOPERATIVA. The insurer remains fully active and compliant as a member of the VIG group.
