Regulatory updates
Union poisťovňa, a. s. is supervised by Národná banka Slovenska (NBS), which oversees all authorised insurers in the Slovak market through ongoing reporting requirements and on-site inspections. Separately, its sister company Union zdravotná poisťovňa (health insurer) and Dôvera signed an agreement in July 2026 on the transfer/merger of the health insurance business, a process expected to be completed during 2027; the companies have stated this merger does not affect Union poisťovňa's motor, travel or property insurance products, which remain unchanged.
