Regulatory updates
GENERALI zavarovalnica d.d. is supervised by the Insurance Supervision Agency (AZN) under the Slovenian Insurance Act. According to the AZN Annual Report 2024, the four largest insurers in Slovenia (Triglav, Sava, Generali and Vzajemna) together controlled 80.9% of the insurance market in 2023. The sector recorded significantly higher net profits in 2024 compared to 2023, driven by strong P&C and investment performance. Generali Slovenia is also subject to the Solvency II Directive and reports annually on its solvency and financial condition. The company has adhered to the Corporate Governance Code for non-public companies since 2016 and follows its own Code of Conduct.
