Caser Seguros is a leading Spanish multi-line insurer founded in 1942, registered with the DGSFP under key C0031. Since 2020 it has been part of the Swiss Helvetia Group (now Helvetia Baloise), which acquired 70% of Caser for approximately 780 million euros. It offers insurance across all lines — car, motorbike, home, health, life, dental, pet, travel, pensions and corporate — and distributes through more than 5,300 mediators, 750 agent offices and 10,000 points of sale throughout Spain.

Regulatory updates
In December 2024, the Helvetia Group announced the merger of Helvetia Seguros and Caser into a single legal entity. The DGSFP officially authorized this merger, which is the definitive administrative milestone in the integration process. The resulting entity has over 2.5 million clients and more than 7,000 employees, placing it among the top ten insurers in Spain. The Caser and Helvetia brands will coexist in the market until 2027 during the transition period. Minority shareholders Unicaja and Ibercaja remain in the merged company's share capital.
