Regulatory updates
MAPFRE continues to be classified by the DGSFP as an Internationally Active Insurance Group subject to the ComFrame supervisory framework, and regularly publishes its Solvency and Financial Condition Report (SFCR) under Solvency II; the group's Solvency II ratio stood at 205.3% at the close of December 2025 (provisional data), with the Group's 1H 2026 results showing Iberia (mainly Spain) net profit of €279 million, up 16.6% year-on-year, and a marked improvement in the Non-Life combined ratio to 93.7%, driven by better performance in the Auto business following technical pricing measures implemented after the 2021–2023 motor insurance crisis.
