Regulatory updates
Allianz Elementar Versicherungs-AG is supervised by the Austrian Financial Market Authority (FMA). As of July 2026, the FMA published its 2025 annual report confirming the Austrian financial sector remains stable, profitable and well-capitalised. In July 2026, the FMA imposed a €2,000 fine on sister entity Allianz Invest Kapitalanlagegesellschaft mbH for a violation of fund regulations; no adverse regulatory action against Allianz Elementar Versicherungs-AG itself has been publicly reported. From 1 January 2026, the FMA also became the sole supervisory authority for financial sanctions in Austria, extending oversight to insurance companies.
