Regulatory updates
Euroins Bulgaria remains actively supervised by Bulgaria's Financial Supervision Commission (FSC/KFN), which serves as the group supervisor for Euroins Insurance Group AD. In July 2025, the FSC approved a new member of the Board of Directors of Euroins AD. In October 2025, Fitch Ratings upgraded Euroins AD's Insurer Financial Strength (IFS) Rating from 'B+' to 'BB-' with a stable outlook, reflecting improved capitalization, solvency (SCR ratio of 159% at end-2024), and reserve adequacy. In February 2025, Euroins Bulgaria completed a capital increase of BGN 115 million (€58.8 million). Following the licence revocation of Euroins Romania by the Romanian regulator (ASF) in March 2023, the FSC confirmed no solvency issues were identified in the Bulgarian entities of the Euroins Insurance Group. In January 2025, EIOPA issued a recommendation criticising the FSC's supervisory assessment related to that Romanian episode, which the FSC contested.
