Insurance Company Euroins AD is one of the first insurance companies in Bulgaria, licensed since 1998, and is currently the leader of the Bulgarian general insurance market by gross premium income. It is a subsidiary of Euroins Insurance Group AD, part of the Eurohold structure, and offers a full range of general insurance products through a wide office network across the country.

Regulatory updates
In June–July 2026, the Bulgarian FSC (КФН) confirmed and then approved an intra-group restructuring under which majority shareholder Starcom Holding AD will directly acquire a 99.33% qualified stake in ZD Euroins AD and a 100% stake in Euroins Zhivot EAD, taking these entities out from under the publicly-listed Eurohold Bulgaria AD, which is repositioning itself as a purely energy-focused holding. Euroins (ZD Euroins AD) remained the leader of the Bulgarian general insurance market in 2025 with gross premium income of approximately €314.8 million (about 14% market share). The company successfully transitioned its systems for Bulgaria's euro adoption on 1 January 2026, alongside the rest of the sector under FSC and EIOPA oversight. Earlier, in 2025, EIOPA had recommended and then confirmed improvements in the FSC's supervisory review processes related to the 2023 Euroins Romania license revocation case, while consistently finding no solvency issues at the Bulgarian entities.
