Following an ordinary inspection in November 2025, Finanstilsynet published a report in March 2026 noting Vestjylland Forsikring is a mutual company owned by its members with headquarters in Videbæk, and issued the company several orders (påbud), including on documentation of conflicts of interest in key functions and on how premium provisions for motor own-damage and motor liability were calculated jointly rather than by separate business lines; an earlier 2022 case also concerned equal-treatment issues in travel insurance terms.
