Seesam operates in Estonia through a branch of the Lithuanian insurer Compensa Vienna Insurance Group, ADB: Compensa Vienna Insurance Group, ADB Eesti Filiaal (registry code 12970620, LEI 5299002BUV9F75DE3H63), located at Maakri 19/1, 10145 Tallinn. The branch is listed on the Finantsinspektsioon (FSA) website both among affiliated branches of foreign non-life insurance institutions and among insurance agents. The original Seesam Insurance AS operating licence expired on 02.07.2020 following the merger with Compensa Vienna Insurance Group, ADB on 1 July 2020. In July 2026 Seesam became the first Estonian insurer to launch a war-risk add-on cover, first for business property insurance and shortly after for home insurance, compensating damage from military drones, missiles, shells or their debris. According to Kantar Emor's 2024 NPS survey, Seesam was the most recommended insurance company in Estonia and had the best self-service environment among insurers for the second year running. No recent sanctions or adverse regulatory actions have been identified.
