Regulatory updates
The acquisition of a c. 77% majority stake in Ydrogios by Reale Group was completed on 19 February 2024, following regulatory approval by the Bank of Greece. As of 31 December 2024, Reale International SRL held approximately 84.9% of share capital. From 1 January 2025, private insurance supervision in Greece is conducted by the renamed DEIIA (formerly DEIA) under the Bank of Greece. Ydrogios published its 2025 Solvency and Financial Condition Report (SFCR), reporting 12.5% premium growth.
