Regulatory updates
Genertel is undergoing a corporate reorganization: in May 2026 IVASS authorized a partial demerger (scissione parziale) of Genertel S.p.A. in favor of Generali Italia S.p.A., alongside a transfer of insurance portfolio and merger of separate management funds. In 2025-2026 IVASS also imposed sanctions on Genertel, including a €533,000 fine in November 2025 and a €30,000 fine in February 2026, both related to late issuance of risk-status attestations, plus an earlier €30,000 fine in September 2025 for the same type of violation.
