Regulatory updates
On 25 July 2024, IVASS issued Order No. 0178787 authorising the merger by incorporation of UnipolSai Assicurazioni S.p.A. and sub-holdings into Unipol Gruppo S.p.A., effective 1 January 2025, when the company was renamed Unipol Assicurazioni S.p.A. On 9 April 2026, IVASS issued Order No. 0075939 identifying the Unipol financial conglomerate pursuant to Legislative Decree No. 142/2005, with Unipol Assicurazioni S.p.A. at the apex of the group, and assuming the role of coordinating supervisor for supplementary supervision. In December 2025, IVASS issued two sanctions orders (Prot. Nos. 254947/25 of 16 December 2025 and 255853/25 of 17 December 2025) against Unipol Assicurazioni S.p.A. (formerly UnipolSai). The company is registered in the Insurance Companies Register (Albo Imprese di Assicurazione e Riassicurazione, Sez. I, n. 1.00183) and is subject to ongoing IVASS supervision.
