Regulatory updates
GRAWE is supervised by the Austrian Financial Market Authority (FMA). In 2024/2025, Austrian insurers including GRAWE were subject to the FMA's updated ESG/climate risk guidelines (revised March 2024), DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act, applicable from January 2025), and new financial sanctions oversight rules (FMA assumed responsibility for financial sanctions enforcement from 1 January 2026). The FMA's 2025 H1 report on international business confirmed GRAWE as one of five internationally active Austrian insurance groups, showing continued strong growth in Central and Eastern Europe. Austrian insurers overall maintained a strong solvency ratio (SCR) of approximately 254% as of year-end 2024.
