Regulatory updates
Bulstrad Vienna Insurance Group EAD is licensed and actively supervised by Bulgaria's Financial Supervision Commission (FSC). In 2024-2025 the FSC launched an industry-wide review of Motor Third Party Liability (MTPL) pricing following reports of unjustified premium increases across multiple insurers. The FSC requested tariff justifications from all MTPL providers and coordinated with the Competition Protection Commission. In December 2025 Bulstrad obtained ISO 9001:2015 certification for its quality management system, confirming its operational compliance and service quality standards. The company remains in good regulatory standing.
